Check-in and check-out
Checkout time is 12:00. Check-in from 12:00 to 24:00. Night check-in from 24:00 to 08:00 costs 10 Gel. When checking in, you will need to fill out a form and present the passports of all guests checking in. We do not accommodate guests without an identification document.
Check-out is until 12:00. If you plan to extend — Please contact the staff.
Procedure and form of payment for services
The friends hostel accepts payment for hotel services in cash and non-cash form — by transfer to a bank account or payment on the spot by credit card.
Payment for accommodation is made in the national currency of Georgia — lari.
The Friends Hostel charges a daily rate.
Payment for accommodation in the hostel is charged in accordance with the established check-out time system — 12:00 of the current day local (Tbilisi) time.
When staying no more than a day (24 hours), the fee is charged for a full day, regardless of the time of arrival.
Residence policy
The friends hostel is intended for temporary accommodation of guests for a period agreed with the administration and formalized in the prescribed manner.
Age limits for guests are 18 years and older. Children under 18 years of age can only be accommodated when accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Pets are not allowed.
In winter, you can hang outerwear in the wardrobe at the entrance. Please do not wear street shoes in the house, wear guest slippers. We constantly maintain cleanliness.
About food
The entire kitchen is at your disposal; you can use dishes, kitchen appliances, and prepare food from the products you purchased. We provide tea, coffee and sugar for free!
Fridge. There is a separate refrigerator for guests. If you leave food in the refrigerator, please sign it! (markers are on the refrigerator), all unmarked food, as well as clearly expired food, must be disposed of.
Please DO NOT consume food or drinks in the bedroom! For food consumption, the entire dining room on the 1st floor is at your disposal! You can also eat at tables in the backyard, weather permitting.
If you would like to order ready-made food, please contact the staff. We provide delicious breakfasts/lunches/dinners at the lowest price in Kutaisi! Soup, side dishes, appetizers and other food are available every day.
We also have soft and alcoholic drinks for you. They are paid, you can find the range and prices in the kitchen or menu.
Breakfast is included in the meal rate from 9:00 to 11:00. If you are planning an early breakfast (before 9:00), we kindly ask you to notify us in the evening.
Smoking in the hostel is prohibited according to the current legislation of Georgia.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the hostel. If you smoke, you can smoke outside. Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
In case of violation of the requirement to ban smoking in rooms and toilets, the Guest is obliged to reimburse the costs of special treatment of the premises to remove the smell of tobacco (purification of the room air from the smell of smoke, dry cleaning of furniture/textiles). The compensation is 100 GEL. In case of violation of this obligation, the administration reserves the right to contact law enforcement agencies to bring the resident to administrative responsibility for smoking in unauthorized places.
Luggage storage.
If you are planning to leave and want to leave your things for a few days — contact the staff, we will lock your things in the storage room — price 5 gel
Washing things — we provide services. One machine load — price 5 Gel.
Ironing — only on your own, the iron is in the dining room.
Coworking.
All hostel visitors can use the coworking space and access to the Internet free of charge.
Lockers.
If you need to lock personal belongings, ask the staff for the key. This service is free.
Entertainment.
If you love board games — we can provide Chess, Backgammon, UNO, Dominoes, Rummikub and other board games. From time to time we post announcements of ongoing events, excursions and other entertainment on the information board. Follow the announcements.
If you play piano or guitar, they are at your disposal in the lobby. In the yard we can throw the ball into the basketball hoop.
Almost every day at 21:00 our cinema opens its doors. until 21:00 you can play the game console.
Behavior at night.
From 23:00 to 08:00 please be quiet. (including in the yard) Remember that other residents may already be asleep and get up early. You can go to communicate on the 1st floor, because… there is a more soundproof room.
Alcohol consumption.
We are loyal to the consumption of alcohol and are ready to treat you to drinks and cocktails from our bar. BUT! We urge you to control your behavior and condition and not get too drunk. If we see that you have had enough, our staff has the right to refuse to sell you alcohol and ask you to go to bed.
Interaction with other residents.
The Friends hostel is not only a hostel — it is a community of active tourists, with different cultures from different countries of the world! Be tolerant, kind and friendly to other people! Don’t be annoying if they are not ready to communicate with you right now, remember about other people’s boundaries, don’t cross them. If you have any problems with other residents, contact the staff immediately. Do not allow a scandal or quarrel to arise, be diplomatic.
We especially ask you to show respect for the female gender. Entry for men into the women’s room (No. 3) except for staff is strictly prohibited!
Any behavior that goes beyond the limits of adequacy, and severe violations of personal boundaries or the peace of other residents, rude harassment of women, failure to comply with staff requirements, scandals with other residents — leads to a call to the police and your eviction without a refund.
For all issues not specified in these rules, the hostel administration is guided by the laws and regulations of Georgia.
